Subject: Important Dates and Links for LGHS Athletics

Dear Los Gatos High School Families,

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we want to ensure that all athletes are aware of several crucial dates and events related to athletic clearance and fall sports. Please take note of the following information:

1. Physicals for Athletic Clearance

Physicals will be offered on Wednesday, August 6th, starting at 6:00 PM in the main hall of the high school building.
An appointment signup link will be sent via ParentSquare next week. The cost is $40, payable by cash, check, or credit card at the time of your appointment.
All proceeds support LGHS Athletics.

Families can also get a physical through their own healthcare provider or at any clinic that offers sports pre-participation physicals.
You can download the Physical Form here: Sports Physical Form.

2. Mandatory Heart Screening

All incoming Freshman athletes and those who did not complete the screening last school year must undergo a mandatory heart screening.
Date: Saturday, August 2nd
To sign up through the Kyle J Taylor Foundation, please visit:

Families may also complete screenings through their own healthcare providers. Proof of screening must be uploaded to your athletic clearance application.

This event is specifically for parents of fall sport athletes, but athletes are welcome to attend as well.
